Music In The Park Saturday

Wayne Howard
Staff Writer

Denver Days, sponsored by the Denver/Lake Norman Rotary Club, now includes four Music in the Park events along with the October Denver Days Festival.

Music in the Park is held the third Saturday of the month for four months beginning in May with music, inflatable attractions for the kids, beer & wine and food trucks.

Admission to the event, music and inflatables are free of charge. Food trucks will include Ace Of Spuds, Pot Belly BBQ, and JK CONES. There will be beer and wine exclusively sold by Eleven Lakes Brewing.

The first Music in the Park of 2019 happens this Saturday May 18th 6 PM – 10 PM at Rescue Squad Park, 7835 Galway Lane, across the street from Lincoln Charter School in Denver. Star Struck Dance Studio will kick off the evening with a performance, then Thirsty Horses will play until 10 PM. The group, which has been making music for events in our area since 2006, plays a big variety of music--from current pop and rock to older tunes from the 90s, 80s, 70s and on request from the 60s. So grab your lawn chair and come on down for a fun-filled evening at Music in the Park!
