LINCOLNTON, N.C.––D-Xperience Afterschool Care and Summer Camps will have its grand opening, May 17.

The 11:30 a.m. event will be held at 1366 Startown Road in Lincolnton, according to Ariel McFadden. The chairman of D-Xperience, McFadden also founded the business.

She and husband Edward, an electrical engineer at the McGuire Nuclear Station, are members of the First Baptist Church of Lincolnton. They have three children.

And children form a subject that Mrs. McFadden knows a lot about. She has more than 15 years of experience in the childcare industry, transforming struggling childcare centers and afterschool programs into thriving institutions. Her passion and concern for children, their safety and personalities all resonate with her client parents.

In her most recent leadership roles in childcare, McFadden has increased student enrollment by 40 percent and sustainability by 75 percent. And nearly a third of each institution’s former clients returned months after her arrival because of her leadership.

In her last leadership role in 2015, working as the site co-ordinator at the YMCA Afterschool Program at St. James Elementary in Denver, McFadden had a chance to build a strong team while putting a new and successful STEM (or science, technology, engineering and mathematics) program into practice.

With such enormous success in her professional past, McFadden has decided to expand her love of kids even more and open D-Xperience. It will specialize in afterschool care and hands-on, science-related summer camps for children from all walks of life.

“They will not only have fun,” she said recently, “but they’ll also make new friends, while learning with their hands and growing their minds.”
