LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Coming up in June – the Lincoln County Historical Association will present history in the making on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday June 9 for the Ramsour’s Battle Weekend.

Join them for an epic weekend of period re-enactment and music, living history demonstrations, local food, presentations, tours and a wreath laying ceremony at the Ramsour’s Mill Mass Grave by the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution.

The Lincoln County Historical Association’s mission in regard to the battleground is to preserve the battleground in order to understand the history. The LCHA is dedicated to preserving the history of Lincoln County, but also the landscape of this precious battleground. This event is held each year to raise awareness of the site, but to also engage the public to understand its importance.

Ramsour’s Mill Battleground Park is located at 301 Jeb Seagle Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092. Parking available at the Lincolnton High School Stadium Lot. The gates open at 10 a.m. each day. The event is free, open to the public, and is child-friendly.
