at Stanley's Harper Park

Lincoln Herald Staff

STANLEY, N.C. – The small town of Stanley in Gaston County held their celebration for Independence Day on Friday, July 5 at Harper Park.

The park opened at 5 p.m. for the town’s celebration with for lots of fun and fellowship. The fireworks lit up the sky around 9 p.m.

Thanks to Bill Ward of Bill Ward Photography in Stanley for sending the Lincoln Herald some shots of the celebration.

The Town of Stanley wants to remind everyone of the Dixie Youth State Baseball Tournament Kick-Off on July 12 at Harper Park with more fireworks.  Watch for more details on the town's Facebook page.
