LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Lincoln County Public Works is experiencing significant water use in the eastern pressure zone. In order to maintain system pressure and adequate water supply, they are requesting voluntary restrictions for County water users.
Voluntary restrictions for County water users include the following:
- No lawn irrigation
- No filling of pools or topping off pools
- No car washing or pressure washing
- No water from fire hydrants for any purpose other than firefighting or other public emergencies
Currently, there is no timeline for when this issue will be resolved but you will be notified upon resolution. The Public Works Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause their customers.
