Tri-County Animal Rescue

ALEXIS, N.C. – Tri-County Animal Rescue has this 2-year-old Boston Terrier named Tippy as our Pet of the Week.  We have five Boston Terriers for adoption so please come meet them all. Tippy is a small Boston and has LOTS of energy.  She will play ball all day.  This little lady weighs about 15 pounds and will not get any bigger.  Tippy is good with all people.  She loves other dogs and would make a great companion pet.  Tippy is spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.  Please come meet miss Tippy and the other Boston Terriers this Saturday.

The Boston Terrier personality varies from individual to individual. Some are rowdy and sassy, others more mellow and subdued, while still others will do anything for a laugh. All Boston Terriers, however, love people, love activity and love lots of attention. They are especially good dogs for elderly people, as they tend to focus most of their attention to one person, and tune in to that person's emotions. A Boston knows when his person is sad, happy, lonely or angry and can adjust his own behavior accordingly.

Boston Terriers are small, but love to run. They will chase after a ball as often as you are willing to throw it. Apartments are perfectly suitable for a Boston, but they will need daily walks and play time. Families of any size or age can adopt a Boston with confidence. They will happily romp around the yard with children, or spend the afternoon curled on the lap of an elderly companion. They are very adaptable and will adjust their activity level to the person they care about the most.

RESCUE PUPPY Pet of the Week --- Tri-County Animal Rescue Puppy Pet of the Week is this Terrier mix named Sally.  She is 4-months-old and weighs about 18 pounds.  Sally has lots of energy and can play for hours. She gets along with other dogs and wants lots of attention. Sally has a beautiful short coat that is black and white.  She is spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.  Come meet this baby girl and you will fall in love!

It is a delightful experience to have a terrier mix dog at home. Terriers are brave, mischievous, energetic, active, fearless, independent, playful, and cheerful. You may come across a variety of terrier dog breeds with different genetic makeup. Their characteristics may also vary slightly, as one of their parents belong to a different breed.

BIG DOG Pet of the Week --- The Tri-County Animal Rescue BIG DOG Pet of the Week is this beautiful German Shepherd Dog (GSD) named Buddy.  Buddy is 8-months-old, good with people, and loves both inside and outside.  Buddy is a big puppy full of energy and wants all the attention.  He is neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.  Please give this big boy a chance to become part of your family!  He will be looking for you this weekend.

If you are looking for an addition to your family, please come out and meet our adoptable pets this weekend.  Many pets will be at the Gastonia PetSmart located at 3698 East Franklin Boulevard this Saturday noon to 6 p.m.

BIRTHDAY DONATION --- Lina Kuykendall just celebrated her 4th birthday. She loves animals and loves to come visit the adoptable Tri-County Animal Rescue pets at PetSmart. Lina decided to give gifts to the cats and dogs at the rescue for her birthday. She collected dog and cat food, cat litter and other items so badly needed. Everyone at Tri-County Rescue wants to give Lina a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY shout out!!! Thanks Lina!
