LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Last year the band preview was cancelled due to the weather. Hopefully Mother Nature will keep the sun shining this Saturday, Sept. 14 for the 2019 Lincoln County Marching Band Preview.

Come join the four high school marching bands from Lincoln County (East Lincoln, Lincolnton, North Lincoln, West Lincoln) as they celebrate all that there is about band life at the Lincolnton Wolves High School Stadium from 7-10 p.m. They will perform their 2019 Field Shows as they prepare for the upcoming competition season and will come together at the end for a combined playing of the National Anthem. This event is all about supporting each other and celebrating each other’s accomplishments.

44th Annual All County Marching Band Preview

  • North Lincoln “Band of Knights” – 7 p.m.
  • East Lincoln “Mustang Band” – 7:30 p.m.
  • West Lincoln “Rebel Regiment” – 8 p.m.
  • Lincolnton “Wolfpack Band” – 8:30 p.m.
  • Combined Bands National Anthem – 9 p.m. (Conducted by Mr. Donald Peach)

Admission to the Band Preview is $2 per person*.  There will be lots of fun, fellowship and there will also be food available to purchase from some local food trucks including Frank and Charlie’s Good Eats and Downtown Dairy Treats.

From its beginnings the Lincoln County High School Marching Band Preview has become a tradition that many look forward to each year. Not only for the students, but also for the parents and alumni of the four county bands. It is a non-competitive arena for all the bands to perform in where each band and their supporters cheer for each other, renew old friendships, make new friends, and have a good time.

All the band members started rehearsing for the competition season back in the summer before school started. Coming together in this venue gives them a chance to perform before an audience, to work out minor flaws, makes adjustments to the program and get feedback from each other.

Bring your family and friends and spread the word about this event to help support high school music programs. This is a great, family-friendly event for the entire community.

*This is a joint fundraiser for the West Lincoln and Lincolnton High School Band Boosters.
