ALEXIS  --- Tri-County Animal Rescue has this 6 year old Pomeranian mix named BoBo as our  Pet of the Week.  This little man weighs about 25 pounds.  BoBo needs an experienced pet owner.  He can be a challenge at times…he has a stubborn streak.  BoBo has a beautiful coat of blonde hair but it has been shaved down.  He tries to be a good boy most of the time! BoBo is neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

Pomeranians can live happily in homes of all sizes. They are small enough to live in apartments or condos, but active enough to flourish in a large home. They should be walked daily to burn off energy, and this helps maintain temperament. They enjoy running, so some yard time every week will be welcome.  Poms need to keep their minds active. They are smart dogs and if left to their own devices will get into mischief, so to keep them happy many owners enroll their Pomeranians in agility training to keep both mind and body in tip top shape.

The Tri-County Animal Rescue Pet of the Week is this beautiful American Pit Bull Terrier named Barretta.  She is 3 years old and weighs about 50-60 pounds.  Barretta is great with women and most men.  She does not like other dogs so she must be an only dog.  She is good inside and loves to cuddle on the couch.  Barretta is short and stocky and known as a “Pocket Pit”.  She is spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.  Please give this sweet girl a chance to become part of your family!  She will be looking for you at our next adoption event.

The Tri-County Animal Rescue BIG DOG Pet of the Week is this beautiful Husky mix named Caroline.  She is 4 years old, good with kids and loves both inside and outside. Caroline is crate trained, house trained and knows basic commands.  She has a beautiful tan and cream coat. Check out that beautiful blue eye!  Caroline can climb fences.  She is not good with other pets so she must be an only dog.  Caroline is playful and loves to romp around the yard.  If you need a walking buddy then please give this sweet girl a chance!  Caroline is spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.

If you are looking for an addition to your family, please come out and meet our adoptable pets.  Many pets will be at the Gastonia PetSmart located at 3698 East Franklin Boulevard on Saturday, March 14 from noon to 6 p.m.
