LINCONTON - Veterans Coffee Connection, a new coffee group for veterans of all ages and branches of military service, will meet this Tuesday, March 10 at 8:30 a.m. at Bar-B-Que King in Lincolnton.
This month, JoAnn Naeger, board representative from Blue Rudge Honor Flight, will serve as guest speaker. Naeger will share about the history of Blue Ridge Honor Flight and their mission to transport America’s Veterans to Washington, DC to visit memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of Veterans like themselves and their friends.
Veterans Coffee Connection is a free coffee group, sponsored by Carolina Caring, hosted by Bar-B-Que King, and is designed to be a welcoming place for veterans to meet other veterans in the area. Delicious doughnuts are provided to veterans by Dunkin’.
Carolina Caring is proud to be a Level IV partner of the We Honor Veterans program, an awareness program spearheaded by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
