Lincoln Herald Staff

By now, most know that effective Wednesday, the state of North Carolina opened-up eligibility to receive the COVID-19 vaccine to all people age 16 and older. Atrium Health is helping build community immunity by conducting multiple mass vaccination events through the end of April.

Appointments are currently available for events which begin Friday (April 9th) and will continue through April 27th at Charlottte's Bank of America Stadium.

To make an appointment, please visit

The Lincoln County Health Dept. scheduled a clinic using the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for Monday (April 12th), but within a short time after we posted the information and they put it on their Facebook page, all available appointments had been taken.

Kintegra Health's clinic at the Cherryville Fire Dept. this Friday is a second dose event only for those who got their first shot there on March 12th.  Kintegra Health had not yet posted next week's schedule of vaccination events as of early Friday morning, but you can check them (and register for an appointment) at

We've detailed in other articles how to get an appointment at other locations.
