Congressman Patrick McHenry will be in Lincoln County for four events on Monday, May 3rd.
At 9:00 AM, McHenry will tour the construction on new the Lincoln County Courthouse and present a flag flown over the US Capitol to Lincoln County commissioners in attendance. The tour will begin at the Lincoln County Health Department located at 200 Gamble Dr. in Lincolnton.
At 10:15, McHenry will meet with Lincoln County Superintendent Dr. Aaron Allen for an update on Lincoln County Schools. He will also learn more about the USDA Grant to Behavioral Partners that will allow Lincoln County Schools to move forward with a telemedicine program. The meeting will take place at the Lincoln County Schools offices at 201 Jeb Seagle Drive in Lincolnton.
At 1:00 PM, Lincolnton Police Chief Rodney Jordan will host McHenry for a tour of the new Lincolnton Police Department. The tour will take place at the Lincolnton Police Department, 701 East Main Street in Lincolnton.
At 2:30, McHenry will tour Atlantic Coast Fire Trucks, a company that provides fire trucks and other equipment for first responders to departments in North Carolina and Tennessee. Atlantic Coast Firetrucks is located at 5867 Balsom Ridge off NC16-business just north of Denver.
