Toys For Tots Press Release
LINCOLNTON, N.C. --- The Marines need your help so that they can assist less fortunate Lincoln County families again this holiday season.
The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program began its 72nd National Campaign on October 1 and unfortunately, the Lincoln County program needs toys and bicycles to distribute this Christmas season. Without your help, it will be challenging for the Marines to help thousands of children this year. The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program conducted by the volunteers in Lincoln County distributed more than 4,000 toys to over 900 less fortunate children in 2018. This year, we are going to support more children and will need more toys.
The local Marne Toys for Tots Campaign Coordinator is Randy Rollins. He can be reached at (980) 222-0031 or Lincolntonemail@example.com. You can visit the Lincoln County Toys for Tots website at https://lincolnton-nc.toysfortots.org and can find many ways to help support your local community.
In over 800 communities across our Nation, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands, millions of less fortunate children, through the gift of a new toy, will experience the joy of Christmas and receive a message of hope during the 2019 holiday season. The thousands of Marines and volunteers supporting these campaigns will continue our mission of assisting our Nation’s greatest resource, its children.
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity which was created at the behest of the United States Marine Corps. The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program began in 1947 in Los Angeles, and since it first National Campaign in 1948 has distributed more than 566 million toys to 258 million children.
