The big day finally arrived Thursday (March 12th) for a Lincolnton Army veteran couple who had been chosen for the TV show "Military Makeover" with Montel Williams. Luke Harvey, Natasha Woodruff, and children Luke, Xylee and Coen got to see their remodeled home on Huss Street in Boger City.  Volunteers and paid professionals had worked to remodel the home and the tv crew had scheduled the 'big reveal' for Thursday afternoon.

Luke served as an infantryman for six years and was seriously injured in Iraq. Natasha is also a disabled veteran.

A large crowd gathered for the big reveal Thursday. The TV show featuring the Lincolnton couple will air on the Lifetime network, most likely in May. Charlotte TV station WBTV has recently aired episodes of the show very early Sunday mornings; if they continue, we'll try to let readers know when this one is scheduled.
