Community meetings will be offered as drop-in meetings to the public, where we invite residents to visit with our staff and master plan consultants to offer ideas for the future of recreation. These community meetings will operate under current state group gathering guidelines and will have limited capacity inside the facilities. Recreation staff will be monitoring the meetings and providing instructions to those waiting to enter.
The recreation master plan survey is also available for residents to provide input on the future of recreation. The survey can be completed by visiting the website listed or by visiting the Lincoln County or City of Lincolnton website. The recreation survey closes on January 31, 2021.

Community input is an essential part of the recreation master plan process here for Lincoln County and the City of Lincolnton.
Additional public meetings will be held later this spring to update the community on the recreation master plan findings. Please stay tuned to the County and City websites for future updates.
