Summer Concerts 2022

Wayne Howard
Reporter

Maybe there's something to that 'Friday the 13th' saga after all.  The bad luck for Maiden is that with the weather forecast calling for rain, the Jive After Five concert that had been scheduled for this Friday (the 13th) won't happen.  Instead, On the Border, an Eagles tribute band, will entertain on Friday July 22nd.

Fans won't have to wait to see and hear that band.  On the Border will kick off Lincolnton's Alive After Five series Thursday May 26th.

Summer concerts were already scheduled to be under way. Belmont did have one on April 29th, but Gastonia had the same problem as Maiden last Friday.  The Band of Oz couldn't play because of rainy weather.  Their appearance will likely be rescheduled.

For Lincolnton, the Alive After Five series begins May 26th.  Concerts will be on the east side of the Courtsquare facing E. Main St. and begin at 7 PM (DJ at 6 PM).  Following On the Border, others this summer include:

In addition to the music and the tour, there'll be hand painted items by Beth Wiseman and a raffle to benefit Lincoln Landmarks.
