LINCOLNTON, N.C. – The Lincoln County Historical Association hosted a weekend of post-revolutionary war activities at the Ramsour’s Mill Battleground on Jeb Seagle Road in Lincolnton January 13-14.

The Mecklenburg Militia, in period dress, participated in a militia muster and reenactment demonstrating to the visitors their marching and shooting techniques, their camp cooking skills and more.

The Lincoln County Hearth Cooks were present cooking up some interesting dishes of the era without modern conveniences which visitors got to taste at the cabin located on the Battleground.

Thanks to all who came out to help support this event!
