19th Century Flax Wheel Finds A New Home
Eileen McCloskey DiTullio, daughter of Tillie Eaker McCloskey Brooks, recently brought items from her mother’s extensive collection to the Crouse Community History & Photo Project including an old flax wheel that for sure belonged to her great-grandmother, Sarah Helms Mauney, but because of its age may have belonged to her mom, Mary Anna Waycaster Mauney.
