Walter Ezel Sain
September 8, 1931 - October 30, 2017

VALE, N.C. - Walter Ezel Sain, age 86, of Gracie Lane in Vale, died on Monday, October 30, 2017.

His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Sayer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 3, 2017, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Sain was born September 8, 1931, in Catawba County, to the late Curtis Alvin Sain and Junie Houser Sain. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Lutz Sain. He served in the United States Army, during the Korean Conflict , and then later worked as a supervisor for Rutherford Electric Membership Association.

He is survived by two sons, Gary Sain and wife Colleen of Concord and Daryl Sain of Vale; three grandchildren, Gary Sain Jr., Amanda Sain and Michael Sain; and one great-grandson, Reid Sain.

Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, NC is serving the Sain family.
