Beth Leota Norton McDonald
March 29, 1940 - April 8, 2019

IRON STATION, N.C. - Beth Leota Norton McDonald, age 79, of Iron Station died on Monday, April 8, 2019.

Beth was born March 29, 1940 in Portland, Oregon to the late Boyd and Hazel Norton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Allan Christian McDonald; and a brother, Larry Norton.

She is survived by two sons, Chris McDonald (Cindy) of Wilmington, and Kenneth McDonald (Melinda) of Newton; three daughters, Tammy Hogan (Kevin) of New Bern, Amy Sharpe (Jeremy) of Denver, and Wendy McBryde (Jay) of Iron Station; a sister, Penne Bilyeu of Oregon; 13 grandchildren, Teresa Beth McDonald, Valarie McDonald, Cameron McDonald, Cody McDonald, Cayman McDonald, April Bain, Heidi Olson, Shane Gossett, Amy Cotellese, Michael Martinez, Joshua Martinez, Hunter Sharpe, and Allan McBryde; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Life service is being planned for a later date.

Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the McDonald family.
