Marion Eugene (Gene) Paris
April 19, 1938 - April 8, 2019

CROUSE, N.C. - Mr. Marion Eugene “Gene” Paris, age 80, of Will Kiser Road in Crouse died on Monday, April 8, 2019.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends graveside following the service.

Mr. Paris was born April 19, 1938 in Gaston County to the late James Marion “J.M.” Paris and Nettie Miller Paris. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Zona Barton Paris. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and then later owned and operated Paris Tire.

He is survived by a son, Marion “Marty” Paris (Kristi) of Lincolnton; a daughter, Carma Paris-Denny (Gary) of Greenville, S.C.; a brother, Jim Paris (Frances Ann) of Crouse; two stepsons; and two stepdaughters.

Memorials may be made to the Gaston County Sheriff’s Department, 425 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Paris family.
