Leta Nell Harbinson Michael
January 31, 1923 - April 11, 2019

MAIDEN, N.C. - Leta Nell Harbinson Michael, age 96, of Maiden passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory.

Born January 31, 1923 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Grover Lee and Nancy Cline Harbinson. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Maiden. In addition to her parents, two sons Johnny Wayne and Pete Michael; three sisters Pauline Irby, Meriam Woody, and Thelma Davis “Datie” Harbinson; and five brothers Harry, Jack, Keith, Jerry, and Cline Harbinson preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory son Terry Michael and wife Patricia of Maiden; daughter Cindy Lutz and husband Rusty of Newton; daughter-in-law Trina Michael; brother Rev. James A. Harbinson; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Maiden with Rev. Eddie Andrews and Rev. James A. Harbinson officiating.

Burial followed in Maiden City Cemetery.

The family received friends on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Maiden.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church – Faith Fund, Maiden, NC.
