Betty Lail Rumfelt
June 18, 1934 - April 14, 2019

SHERRILLS FORD, N.C. - Betty Lail Rumfelt, 84, of Sherrills Ford passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Wexford House in Denver.

She was born June 18, 1934 in Catawba County to the late Aaron H. Lail and Ivie Robinson Lail. Betty was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Sherrills Ford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, brothers, Monroe Lail, Henry Lail, and Tommy Lail; sisters, Effie Berry and Dorothy Lail.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons Harold Schronce of Denver, Danny “Mike” Schronce of Sherrills Ford; daughter Dawn Houston and husband Wayne of Catawba; sister Eva Biggers of Philadelphia; grandchildren Aaron Schronce, Brandie Isenhour, Josh Schronce, Justin Houston, Michelle Schronce, Alison Houston, and Cheyenne Schronce; and 11 great-grandchildren.

An Inurnment service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Sherrills Ford. Rev. Mark Muckler will officiate. Betty’s family will receive friends on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Church, 4136 Mt. Pleasant Road, Sherrills Ford, NC 28673.
