He was the son of Delano and Marilyn Lang of Owasso, Okla. Luke devoted his entire life to loving God, loving people, and living out loud. He graduated from LIFE Bible College East in Christiansburg, Va. where he found and married his best friend and the queen of his pirate heart, Diana, on May 24, 1991. They celebrated the birth of their daughter, Delanie, in 1993. He later catapulted to euphoria upon becoming Big Papi to the Moonpie, Henley Jade, on April 20, 2017.
In addition to his mother, Luke is survived by his loving wife and helpmate of 27 years, Diana, their daughter and his self-proclaimed greatest work of art, Delanie, and her husband Jordan Daugherty; granddaughter Henley, all of Charlotte; brother Mark Lang and his wife MaryAnn of Lubbock, Texas; sister Hope Lang of Tulsa, Okla.; niece Madison Lang and nephew Noah Lang of Lubbock, Texas; and his father-in-law, Jack Mortimer, of Keokuk, Iowa.
