Robert Clyde Sigmon Jr.
April 4, 1940 - May 8, 2019

CONOVER, N.C. - Robert Clyde Sigmon Jr. passed on May 8, 2019 at his home in Conover.

He was 79 years old. He was born April 4, 1940 in Newton, N.C. He left North Carolina at a young age to seek his fortune and raise a family in Jacksonville, Fla. He was an employee of Ford Motor Co. and worked his way to parts manager. He won many awards and excelled at all his endeavors, including real estate investment. He returned to his roots when his health started to fail.

He is survived by his son, Anthony "Dean" Sigmon; his daughter Robin Sigmon Greenberg; his granddaughter Holly Ann Sigmon; his sister Sylvia Sigmon; his brother Michael Sigmon; and many nephews; a niece; and many other kin.

A family memorial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Conover.
