Jimmy Carroll Helms
January 14, 1946 - June 13, 2019

MAIDEN, N.C. - Jimmy Carroll Helms, age 73, of Maiden passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at his residence, after a battle with leukemia.

Born January 14, 1946 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late James Edward and Margaret Willis Helms. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. In addition to his parents, brother, Charles E. Helms preceded him in death.

Left to cherish his memory is his son Ronnie Helms of the home; sister Sharon H. Trube and husband, Freddy of Asheville; grandson Cody Helms of Maiden; and numerous cousins.

Services will be held privately at St. Paul’s UMC, N. Oliver’s Crossroads, Newton.

Memorials may be made to: St. Paul’s UMC, 3764 N. Oliver’s Crossroads, Newton, NC 28658.
