How important are the obituaries?  The obituaries are  the most read articles the Lincoln Herald publishes.  Because they're important to our readers, we don't charge for publishing obituaries; and we also publish (at no charge) a photo of the deceased when one is supplied by the funeral home.  We believe our readers appreciate that unlike some newspapers who only post the current obituaries in their printed paper and don't update them online, we update them every day of the week--because that's what our readers expect.  You can read all our articles for free , and if you choose, we'll send you a daily email with links to the latest articles.
