CHERRYVILLE, N.C. - Richard Carl Peterson, age 42, of 206 Allen Lane in Cherryville, died on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Gloryland Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Witherspoon officiating.
Richard was born March 23, 1979, in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin to Cynthia Wedlund Ingle and the late Ricky Carl Peterson. In addition to his father, he was preceded by a sister, Tonya Flaskrud. He worked in maintenance for American Zinc Products.
He is survived by his partner, Brandy Branch of the home; mother, Cynthia Ingle (Joe) of Vale; three brothers, Jeff Flaskrud of Vale, Michael Peterson of Chicago, and Timothy Peterson of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Alicia Causby of Vale; aunts, Connie Keen of Tennessee, Bernadine Hartman (Darrell) of Lawndale, Colleen Heath of Iron Station, Christine Hotchkiss (Terry) of Lincolnton, Tami Young (Harold) of Lincolnton; Connie Myers (Gary) of Indiana, Diane Mooneyhan and Susan Cheney, both of Mississippi; and uncle, Richard Cleveland (Linda) of Iron Station.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Peterson family.
