Glen Juan Roper
March 5, 1940-March 3, 2022

Glen Juan Roper, 81, of Conover passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his residence.

He was born March 5, 1940 in Catawba County to the late Bonnie Roper. Glen retired as owner and operator of Roper Automotive and enjoyed collecting cars and guns.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Wesley Dean Roper; and sister, Jackie Beaver.

Those left to cherish his memory are

His wife of 61 years: Brenda Bowman Roper of the home

Son: Shane Roper of Conover

Daughter: Tracy Crowe and husband Alton of Taylorsville

Grandchildren: Matthew Bumgarner, Jason Bumgarner, and Ian Roper

Great-Grandchildren: Serenity and Cruse Bumgarner

No services are scheduled at this time.
