LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Robert Lee Kirkland, age 74, of Lincolnton passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.
Born December 25, 1947 in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late James Richard and Estelle Marr Kirkland. Robert was a member and deacon of River of Life Full Gospel Church in Mount Holly.
In addition to his parents; four sisters; and one brother preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years Jean Kirkland of the home; son Robert Keith Kirkland of Lincolnton; daughter Karen Elaine Beal of Lincolnton; niece Barbara Cantrell of Lincolnton; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Maiden with Pastor Justin Burnett officiating.
Burial will follow in Maiden City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
