July 14, 1949 - March 18, 2022

LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Mrs. Teresa Rogers Bryant passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the age of 72.

Mrs. Teresa Rogers Bryant was a true renaissance woman. After graduating from Ashley High School, Teresa began several different career paths including becoming a beautician and owning several small retail businesses. After marrying John Phifer Rogers III, she had two children, Bridgette (d. 1968) and her beloved son John Phifer Rogers IV. This club brightened both the social and cultural scene of Gaston County. Night Owls became a popular venue for local and national entertainment. Her son married in 2006 (Julie Rogers) and Teresa was blessed with two grandsons John Phifer Rogers V and Trevor Rogers. Teresa had a love for boating, telling jokes, shooting and playing cards. She was known for her love of Poker….and she was great at it!

She leaves this world a brighter place after making lifelong friendships with so many. Her love of entertainment was matched only to that of the love she had for her beloved Chihuahus, Pookie, Missy, Taz and Chaquita. She leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law John and Julie Rogers, two grandsons (JP Rogers and Trevor Rogers), two sisters: Pam Fernandez (Ricky) and Melba Burch (Earl), her sister-in-law Lyn Owens, nieces, nephews, countless friends and colleagues
