CROUSE, N.C. - Mrs. Delia B. Shealy, 69, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

Delia was born in Grassy Fork, Tennessee on February 20, 1953 daughter of the late Lindsey Brandon and Laura Ford Brandon. She was a homemaker. Delia was a member of Anthony Grove Baptist Church in Crouse where she served as a former Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed playing her harp. Delia volunteered on the Cherryville Community Revival prayer team.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Gary E. Shealy of the home; four sons, Earl Shealy and wife Christina of Dallas, Gary Lynn Shealy and wife Amanda of Cherryville, Brandon Nathaniel Shealy and wife Misty of Crouse, Jordan Shealy of Lumberton; two daughters, MaKayla Shealy of Morganton and Miya Shealy of Clover, S.C.; a brother, Isaac Brandon of Grassy Fork, Tennessee; and eight grandchildren, Lindsey, Steven, Zachary, Lyncoln, Poppy, Kiersten, Brantley and Kaiyah.

Visitation will be from 5-6:45 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Anthony Grove Baptist Church in Crouse.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Anthony Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Dennis Bean and Rev. Ken Faulkenbury officiating.

Burial will be private.
