VALE, N.C. - Aubory Gene Huffman, 74, of Vale went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 1, 2022 at his residence.
Born on January 20, 1948 in Catawba County he was the son the late Dock and Beulah Mae Willis Huffman.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Anthony and Lori Ann Sigmon.
Aubory is survived by his nephew Roger Carter; sisters Zoina McSwain, Edith Carswell; nieces Cheri Carter, Toni Couch; nephew Bradley Cromer; along with several great-nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project in Aubory’s name.
