LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Roy Clinton Turner, age 85, of Lincolnton passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022.
A private graveside service for Mr. Turner will be held at a later date.
Mr. Turner was born on January 31, 1937 and was the son of the late Lester Clarence Turner and Ollie Alma Trammell Diamond. He was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Turner Sisk; his son, Timothy Dan Turner; and his sister, Dorothy Turner Jetton. Mr. Turner was a land surveyor and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his daughter, Christine Turner Frye (Randy) of Lincolnton; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
