MAIDEN, N.C. - Cathy Peek Hubbard, 48, of Maiden, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 25, 2022.
She was born July 26, 1973 in Burke County to the late William Lawton Peek and Ila Wilson Suddreth.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Timmy Peek; and sister, Pamela Braun.
Those left to cherish her memory is her son Christopher Hubbard of Newton; daughters Courtney Parker of Newton, Catlyn Hubbard of Maiden; brothers Tommy Peek of Morganton, Samuel Peek of Morganton; sister Angela Poarch of Morganton; grandchildren Izreal Johnson, Kayden Hubbard, and Amy Bumgarner.
A memorial service to celebrate Cathy’s life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Bennett Funeral Service, 7878 NC Hwy 16, Newton. Rev. Dr. Ed Yount will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Service.
