DENVER, N.C. - Richard Madeley Morgan, age 75, of Denver passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022.
Richard was born on March 18, 1947 in Retford, England and was the son of the late Eric and Marian Isabel Morgan. He was also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Sarah Morgan and his granddaughter, Java Bean Morgan. He retired as a tax accountant.
Richard is survived by his wife, Joan Morgan of the home; his three children, James Morgan of Bremerton, Wash., Gillian Castillo (Danny) of Denver and Justin Morgan (Samantha) of Rosemead, Calif.; his three siblings, Jenny Ingram of Woodbridge, England, Liz Henchley (Geoff) of Epperstone, Nottinghamshire, England, David Morgan (Marie) of Braaid, Isle of Man; four grandchildren, Christina Norman (Marcus); Alex Castillo, Carly Castillo and Max Morgan; and two great-grandchildren, Marcus Norman II and River Norman.
A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Lincoln Christian Ministries, 6637 Campground Rd., Denver, NC 28037.
