CONOVER, N.C. - Tinikia Danyale McDaniel, 48, of Conover passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at her residence.
She was born September 30, 1973 in Catawba County to the late Edward Shuford and to Diane McDaniel Bender of Hickory. Tinikia was a member of McQueen Chapel United Methodist Church in Conover.
She was preceded in death by her fathers, Edward Shuford and Gary James; brothers, Diaunte James and Terrence Shuford; and sister, Natasha Lott.
Those left to cherish her memory is her mother Diane Bender of Hickory; brother Kewaun Shuford of Newton; and sister Kim James of Newton.
A home-going service to celebrate Tinikia’s life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Newton. Rev. Dr. Donald Gray, Rev. Cassandra Rawls, Minister Cathy Stewart, Rev. Betty Miles, Pastor Diane Sherrill and Rev. Dale Sneed will officiate. Burial will follow at Washington Park Cemetery in Conover. The body will be placed in the church at 12 noon and the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Newton.
