Pastor Scott Mann and the congregation of New Vision Ministries have been hosting a Christian Conference with a special concert called “Wildfire”. The final night of the conference and concert is this evening, March 15 at 6 p.m. Admission is free but a love offering will be taken.
The conference is a worship revolution where youth and adults will be “Seeking God and Finding Him”. Featured in the concert is Catherine Mullins and the Ramp Band. They come from a church in Hamilton, Alabama called “The Ramp”. Mullins is a song-writer and worship leader who longs to see the Bride of Christ to come forth in purity and holiness. Her goal in life is to bring the world into a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ through worship. Since Fall of 2008 she has travelled extensively releasing her heart for prophetic worship and the Body of Christ. Catherine’s desire is that all would come into a deeper revelation of Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives. While at home, Catherine leads worship at The Ramp. She has four CDs and they can be purchased on her website http://www.catherinemullins.com/.
The conference and concert also feature Bryn Waddell who is the Pastor of Truth Temple in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Truth Temple was founded by Dr. Garland Faw, Bryn's grandfather, over 40 years ago. Many might remember Bryn as the worship leader of Karen Wheaton's Ministry The Ramp. Karen Wheaton is another Christian recording artist, but is not at this conference. Karen Wheaton has been in ministry for over 30 years , she is the founder and senior leader of The Ramp, having founded The Ramp in 1998 when she moved back to her hometown in Hamilton, Alabama, and was gripped by God’s heart for a generation.
Everyone is invited to come out and worship with New Vision at 661 Clark Creek Road in Lincolnton to seek and find God in worship.
