GASTONIA, N.C. - Pastor Bobby Gilley was recognized and a day of celebration was held at South Gastonia Church of God on Sunday September 9.

A fellowship breakfast was held for the approximate 175 folks who showed up at 9 a.m. before the 10 a.m. service of over 350.

Gifts were given, powerful songs sung and many thanks given for all that Pastor Gilley and his wife have done for 25 years which has been through many ministries, including Victory Christian Academy which is an extension of the church.

COG Western NC Administrative Bishop Dr. Ken Bell delivered the evening service while National COG Overseer Tim Hill preached the message at the 10 a.m. service.

South Gastonia Church of God is located at 310 Carolina Ave. in Gastonia. Service times are: Life Line Groups Sunday 9 a.m.; Worship Sunday 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.; Wednesday Family Night 7 p.m.; Prayer Meetings: Sunday 9:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Tuesday 7 p.m., and Thursday at 10 a.m.
