Pleasant Grove UMW Apple Pie Sale, Saturday, October 17 --- Are you ready for a taste of Fall and an apple treat? The Pleasant Grove United Methodist Women will adapt to the circumstances of this year by having their fried apple pie sale at the church on October 17 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Apple pies will be $3, apple butter $6. Hotdogs will also be sold for $1.50. Pre-order pickups will be available after noon. Please place your order by calling either 704-472-0388 or 515-707-7994. Otherwise, drive by the church and pick-up the day of the event. Pleasant Grove is located at 2069 Highway 182, Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Mt. Zion Baptist-Alexis, Faithful Voices Concert, Sunday, October 18 – Faithful Voices will be in concert at the 10 a.m. service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2151 Mt. Zion Church Rd. in Alexis, N.C.

Bethel Baptist Adam Beard Concert, Sunday, October 18 --- Adam Beard will be singing at Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at our 10 a.m. service. All are welcome.

Daniels Lutheran Chicken Pie Lunch, Sunday, October 18 --- Daniels Lutheran Church, 3170 Reepsville Road, Lincolnton, will hold a Chicken Pie Lunch on Sunday, October 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Menu includes “Old Timey” Chicken Pie, green beans, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, and oatmeal cookie.  Carry out plates only.  Plates are $10. Proceeds will benefit the Building Fund.

McKendree UMC Sunday Luncheon, Sunday, October 18 --- For a requested donation of $8 which supports multiple ministries at McKendree United Methodist Church you will receive a delicious lunch of Meatloaf or Baked Chicken with sides. Take-Out and Inside Dining will be available (following COVID-19 guidelines with social distance seating). Serving time is from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. McKendree is located at 3537 Maiden Hwy., Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Alexis Baptist Church, Faithful Voices Concert, Sunday, October 18 --- Faithful Voices will be in concert at the 6 p.m. service at Alexis Baptist Church, 215 Alexis-High Shoals Rd. in Alexis, N.C.

Bethel Baptist Glow With God Fest, Saturday, October 31 --- Please join us for games, hotdogs, glow sticks and more at Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 on Saturday, October 31 from 5-8 p.m. Let us light your candy bucket with goodies and God's blessings!  We hope to see you there!

First Baptist Lincolnton Drive-Thru Trunk-Or-Treat, Saturday, October 31 --- First Baptist Church, 201 Robin Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 will host a Drive-Thru Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 31 from 6-8 p.m.

In Honor Of Stanley Area Veterans & Their Families, Sunday, November 8 --- A Celebration to Honor Stanley Area Veterans and their Family Members will be held on Sunday, November 8 at 6 p.m. at Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church, 113 E. Parkwood St., Stanley. No Reservations Required. The event will also Live Stream at https;//www.stanleyphc.com (click and follow instructions on the screen). Keynote Speaker will be Abraham J. Turner, Major General of the US Army, Retired, PLUS Patriotic music, special guests and speakers, surprise recognition and a gift for all veterans in attendance. This event is organized by the Stanley Cemetery Ancestry Fund and the Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church. This event is supported by numerous churches in the Stanley area.
