And last month’s annual benefit Christian Ministry Golf Tournament brought in more than $11,000, according to Mitzi Williams. The executive director of Christian Ministry of Lincoln County, Williams told The Herald more Thursday, extolling the event held at the Lincoln Country Club.

“We had to work around some major thunderstorms,” she said. “But we had a great golf tournament! We had 84 golfers take part.”
