Bethel Baptist Church Community Breakfast, Sunday, August 7: Bethel Baptist Community Breakfast, Every 1st Saturday of the month from 7-9:30 a.m. Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 Breakfast includes: country meats and fixings, breakfast casserole, and cinnamon rolls. Back-To-School Worship & Clothes Give-A-Way, Monday, August 8: All are invited to worship together with multiple Dallas area churches on Monday, August 8 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Cloninger Park. While we worship together, back-to-school clothes will be available (free of charge) for those who need them. This is event is sponsored by the Dallas Ministers Association. Cloninger Park is located at 1303 Dallas Cherryville Hwy, Dallas, NC 28034.

St. Dorothy’s Catholic Free Pet Vaccine Clinic, Saturday, August 13: Helping Animals To Survive - HATS is holding a FREE pet vaccine clinic for residents of Lincoln County. August 13, 8-11 a.m. at St. Dorothy's Catholic Church, 148 St. Dorothy's Lane, Lincolnton. Thanks to Petco Love, they are offering DAPPv combo dog distemper vaccine, HCP combo cat distemper vaccine. Rabies furnished by HATS. Have cats in carrier and dogs on a leash. First come first served.

Lowesville Gospel Concerts/Vineyard Church, The Lore Family and The Pine Ridge Boys, Saturday, August 13:  Vineyard Church (formerly Living Word Ministries), 1062 South Hwy 16, Stanley (Lowesville), NC presents on Saturday, August 13 at 6 p.m. The Lore Family and The Pine Ridge Boys. As always, NO ADMISSION COST, a freewill offering only to be received, and you are invited. We have concerts every 2nd and 4th Saturday. Antioch Methodist Homecoming, Sunday, August 28 : Former members, friends and relatives of Antioch Methodist Church, Crouse, N.C.  are invited to the annual homecoming on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Antioch closed 58 years ago but each year many former members and descendants come to the little country church located off of Hwy. 150 in Crouse.  Come early to enjoy some special music and stay for the worship service at 11 a.m. with guest speaker Rev. Jerry Lail.  A covered dish meal will follow in the arbor with a business session afterwards in the church (In case of inclement weather the meal and business meeting will be held at Crouse United Methodist Church). During the Worship Service a special love offering for the Building and Cemetery Fund will be taken.
