VALE, N.C. - Cedar Grove Lutheran Church will host an All Saints Day Candlelight Cemetery Tour as part of their 125th Anniversary celebration on Sunday, November 5.

Visit with them and learn about the personalities from their church's past. Guided tours start at 5:30 p.m., 5:45 p.m., 6 p.m., and 6:15 p.m. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet personalities from Cedar Grove’s founding families.

Congregation members who will make appearances in the cemetery and speak to guests as if it were the year of their death include: Absolom Houser (1898), Absalom Rudisill (1909), Susan Beam (1910), Sarah Houser (1911), Barbara Beam (1922), A.D. Shidal (1924), Dr. C.M. Bess (1928), William Baker (1938), D.J. Beam (1947), and George Beam (1951).

The cemetery tour will take place rain or shine, with refreshment to following the tours. The church is located at 261 Cedar Grove Lutheran Church Road, Vale, NC 29168.
