Christian Ministry's Donations Now Top $21,000

LINCOLNTON, N.C.––Christian Ministry of Lincoln County is benefitting from more donations.

According to executive director Mitzi Williams, the current total has increased from some $18,000 earlier last week to $21,414.69 now.

Williams added that the contributions include:

*$250 from Highland Drive Baptist Church;

*$100 from the Lincolnton Church of God;

*$500 from Bob’s Pallets;

*$100 from Don Pendleton;

*$750 from Clyde and Kim Arrowood;

*$150 from the men’s fellowship class at First Christian Church;

*$100 from the senior adult men’s class at Calvary Baptist;

*and $1,605.62 from anonymous benefactors.

In other news, Williams reminded local churches’ food-packers of their scheduled dates:

*Macedonia Baptist, Dec. 3-5;

*Community Full Gospel, Dec. 6 and 7;

*Harvest Presbyterian, Dec. 10 and 11;

*Freedom Church, Dec. 10-14 and Dec. 21;

*Unity Baptist, Dec. 12-14;

*and Victory Grove, Dec. 17 and 18.

She added that no coverage is needed Dec. 19 and 20, as those are the give-out days for Christmas toys, clothing and more at Christian Ministry’s downtown Lincolnton offices. But Dec. 27, 28 and 31 remain open, and packers are needed for those days.
