LOWESVILLE, N.C.––Regional gospel faves the Pine Ridge Boys are returning to Living Word Ministries.

They’ll perform a free concert this Saturday, July 27, at 6 p.m. at the Lowesville church. A free-will offering will be taken up.

According to Carroll Cooke, the church’s concert co-ordinator and himself a longtime gospel singer, you won’t want to miss this group. Cooke recently extolled the group, which is based out of Spartanburg, S.C.

“The Pine Ridge Boys are always one of favorites; one of our most popular bands,” he said. “You will be blessed when you come to this one, for sure.”

Also on the same bill will be the Citizens of Glory, coming all the way from the West Coast. The group is based out of Oakhurst, Calif.

“These are eight siblings,” said Cooke, “and they sing and play 11 different instruments.”

Living Word is located at 1062 NC-16 South in Lowesville, just down from Hill’s Chapel Methodist Church.

To learn more about the concert, call Cooke at (704) 618-9762 or e-mail him at
