MAIDEN, N.C.––The Monroe-based Littles gospel group is coming to our area for two free concerts.

They’ll be at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Maiden, this Sunday, Oct. 6, at 10:45 a.m. And the Littles will also perform another free concert on Nov. 23 at 5:30 p.m.

The place to be for the latter concert is Living Word Ministries in Lowesville, just south of Denver, according to the church’s concert co-ordinator, Carroll Cooke. Himself a longtime gospel singer, Cooke said recently that lovers of gospel music won’t want to miss this show.

The Littles are quickly becoming a favorite among family groups on the Christian music scene. Their progressive style of gospel music is built around tight arrangements, close family harmonies and strong vocals. The past year has seen new opportunities open up, thus expanding the group’s reach and schedule.  Additionally, the Littles have been acclaimed throughout the Christian music world, winning many awards and accolades.

The group features Jack Little, an ordained Baptist pastor, wife Jan and daughter Rebecca. The Littles are represented by the Dominion Agency, and they love performing at churches and for special events. The group’s albums include Time After Time, Some Day Soon and Back to the Well.
