Lincoln Herald Staff email@example.com
With the latest executive order from Gov. Cooper, in-person church services have been cancelled, but most area churches used the internet to provide their services to worshippers last Sunday and will again this week. We have received information from some, but others are likely also to have online services. Among those we know about:
First Baptist Church of Lincolnton will have its services online on its website fbclincolnton.org. Services will be at 8:30 & 10:30.
Cherryville First United Methodist will have its services on the church's Facebook page: (https://www.facebook.com/FUMCCherryville/) at 10:30 AM. They will also have Zoom Bible Study on Wednesday (April 1st) at 6 PM.
Crouse United Methodist will have its services on its Facebook page: (https://www.facebook.com/crouseumc/) at 11 AM. They will also post a live video Daily Evening Prayer at 7:30 PM.
Messiah United Methodist Church (Hwy. 27 West, Vale) will use the church's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MessiahUMC/). The recorded sermon will also be uploaded to YouTube.
Webbs Chapel UMC (Denver) will also use its Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/WebbsUMCDenver/ Sunday at 10 AM. Webbs Chapel will also have Story & Song Time with Aimee and Henry on Facebook- Sunday at 4 PM.
Alexis Baptist Church will have its 10:15 AM service on the church's Facebook page.
Westport Baptist (Denver) will have its service on the church's Facebook page at 10:30 AM.
Many other churches will also have their services online...some on their Facebook page, some on YouTube, some on the church's website. The Lincoln Herald is glad to post this information for our readers during the COVID-19 pandemic and the current 'stay at home' period.
