Alexis Baptist Trunk-or-Treat, Friday, October 30 --- Come dressed and ready for fun from 5-7 p.m. There will be lots of candy, hot dogs, and other food…all for FREE and SAFE! Alexis Baptist is located at 118 Alexis Church Rd, Alexis, NC 28006.

Today’s Grace Drive-Thru Trick-Or-Treat, Friday, October 30 --- Drive-Thru Trick-Or-Treat on Friday, October 30 from 6-8 p.m. OR while supplies last. Each child in your vehicle will receive a bag of candy. Today’s Grace Church is located at 775 W. 25th St., Newton, NC 28613.

Dallas Baptist Church Outdoor Movie, Friday, October 30 --- On October 30 at 7 p.m., Dallas Baptist Church, 402 W. Trade St., Dallas, NC 28034 will host an outdoor family-friendly movie viewing in their parking lot (behind the playground). Popcorn, hot chocolate, candy, and other goodies will be available. Bring a chair or blanket for seating. You can even get the drive-in experience by watching from your car. Please let them know you're coming so that they can have enough candy for all. Roseland Baptist Trunk-Or-Treat, Saturday, October 31 --- A Trunk-Or-Treat will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Roseland Baptist Church, 1172 Rosehill Dr., Lincolnton, NC 28092. For more information email

First Baptist Lincolnton Drive-Thru Trunk-Or-Treat, Saturday, October 31 --- First Baptist Church, 201 Robin Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 will host a Drive-Thru Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 31 from 6-8 p.m.

Lowesville Gospel Concerts, Punches Family Bluegrass, October 31 --- The Punches Family Bluegrass from Fredricktown, Missouri will be in concert Saturday, October 31 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.  at Living Word Ministries, 1062 Hwy 16 South in Lowesville/Stanley. This will be their eighth appearance with us in eight years, we love the Punches. We are recommending face coverings and we will also be social distancing. The concert will be no cost, a freewill offering will be received. The church is located 1.8 miles south of the intersection of Highways 73 and 16 Business. New Testament Missionary Baptist Gospel Singing, Saturday, October 31 --- Come join us and Servant’s Voices on Saturday, October 31 from 7-8 p.m. as we worship in song! Ring Church Bells, Sunday, November 1 --- Churches around the country will be ringing their bells, handbells, or chimes following Sunday services on the first Sunday in November in honor of loved ones who have died. Many congregations will also join in this symphony of sound to recognize National Hospice Month. The ringing of church bells has, for generations, been a way to recognize important events, to draw communities together, and mark the passage of time.
