Prayer Breakfast (Hickory YMCA), Friday, November 20 (RESERVE BY NOVEMBER 15) --- In collaboration with First Presbyterian Church, Trinity Fellowship Church, and Morningstar First Baptist Church, the Hickory Foundation YMCA will host its 2020 Prayer Breakfast on Friday, November 20 at 7:30 a.m. The event will be held at the YMCA at 701 1st St NW in Hickory with a to-go breakfast sponsored by Lenoir-Rhyne University and provided by Aramark. Serving the Catawba Valley for over 50 years, the YMCA has always worked to strengthen the community and bring people of diverse backgrounds together. In line with the YMCA Mission, and with a theme of “Strength in Community,” this will be a time when the community can come together in prayer for guidance and protection on the Catawba Valley. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, masks will be required and social distancing will be practiced. Space will be limited so reserve your spot by emailing Paxton Tallent at paxtont@ymcacv.org by Sunday, November 15.

Daniels Lutheran BBQ Lunch, Sunday, November 15 --- Daniels Lutheran Church, 3170 Reepsville Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 will host a BBQ Lunch on Sunday, November 15, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Plates are $10.00 each – Carry out only.  BBQ with slaw, baked beans, and cookie.  All proceeds benefit the Building Fund.  Pick up plates at back drive-through.

Temple Baptist HATS No Cold Pets Project, Saturday, November 21 --- Helping Animals To Survive Inc. (HATS) of Lincoln County will hold their No Cold Pets Project on the campus of Temple Baptist Church, 3115 Hwy 27, Lincolnton, NC 28092 on Saturday, November 21 beginning at noon until supplies run out. Items available include dog and cat houses, pet food, straw and other supplies. Covid-19 restrictions apply, masks must be worn and must remain in your vehicle. If getting a dog house you must bring a vehicle large enough to accommodate the house. For more information email info@hatsalive.org.

Bethel Baptist Scouting For Food, Saturday, November 21 --- Troop 72B, Troop 72G, and Pack 72 will be collecting items for their Scouting For Food project.  Items can be dropped off on Saturday, November 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092. Please support our local community and our scouts.

Bethel Baptist Singing, Sunday, November 22 --- Adam Beard will be singing on Sunday, November 22 at the 10 a.m. worship service at Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, N.C. 28092. All are welcome!

Bethel Baptist 5th Sunday Singing, Sunday, November 29 --- The Rock of Ages Music Family (The Rankins) will be singing during our 10 a.m. service on Sunday, November 29.  A Covered Dish meal will be served after church. Please join us! The church is located at 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, N.C. 28092.
