LOWESVILLE––The Monroe-based Littles will perform a free concert Oct. 9 at 6 p.m.
Living Word Ministries of Lowesville is the place to be, according to noted gospel singer and concert co-ordinator Carroll Cooke. And although the concert is free, as Cooke recently noted, a free-will offering will be taken up.
“The Littles are a family vocal group,” he informed, “comprised of Jack and Jan Little, along with their daughter, Rebecca Little Burke. They have been singing together for over 13 years, with the past six as their primary vocation. Jack and Jan make their home in Monroe, where they have lived for the past 39 years. Rebecca, her husband, Bradley Burke, and their son, Jackson, all reside in Maiden.
“Over the past six years,” Cooke added, “they have quickly become one of the favorite family trios in gospel music. Their great family harmonies, combined with quality musical arrangements of meaningful songs, are sure to make for a wonderful time of worship any time they take the stage.”
Living Word is located at 1062 NC-16 South in Lowesville. It features Southern, bluegrass and/or acoustic gospel concerts every Saturday evening.
