Lowesville Gospel Concerts/Vineyard Church, the Marksmen Bluegrass Quartet and the Chandlers, Saturday, March 26:  Vineyard Church (formerly Living Word Ministries), 1062 South Hwy 16, Stanley (Lowesville), NC presents on Saturday, March 26 at 6 p.m. The Marksmen Bluegrass Quartet from Dahlonega, Georgia and The Chandlers from Greenfield, Tennessee. Bethel Baptist Community Breakfast, Saturday, April 2 --- Every 1st Saturday of the month from 7-9:30 a.m. Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 will host a Community Breakfast that includes: country meats and fixings, breakfast casserole, and cinnamon rolls. Come join us! Donations only.

Crouse UMC Spring Craft Sale, Saturday, April 2 --- Come join us at Crouse United Methodist Church, 2211 Crouse School Rd., Crouse, NC 28033 for our Spring Craft Sale from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. We will have sausage biscuits from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., then hot dogs from 10 a.m.  until 2 p.m. (or we run out). A bake sale will also be underway all day.  Come pick out Easter and Mothers Day gifts, jewelry, crafts and lots more!

New Vision Ministries, Landen’s Story Family Fun Fest, Saturday April 2: Come enjoy a day of fun while making a difference on Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at New Vision Ministries, 661 Clark Creek Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092. Boger City UMC Team Jesus Service, Sunday, April 3 --- As you cheer your favorite NCAA team to victory, Boger City United Methodist Church recognizes and honors the fact that we are all LIFETIME MEMBERS of the GREATEST TEAM OF ALL TIME, the team that will have the ULTIMATE VICTORY-GODS TEAM…TEAM JESUS! In a display of BCUMC unity and enthusiasm for TEAM JESUS on Sunday, April 3 at their 10:30 a.m. Worship Service, they are asking all members to invite friends, neighbors, co-workers and relatives to attend this special worship service. All church members and attendees are encouraged  to wear their TEAM JESUS uniform to the worship service. Your TEAM JESUS uniform should include your favorite NCAA team jersey, T-shirt, or sweatshirt and blue jeans. Bethel Baptist Scout BBQ Fundraiser, April 8-9 --- Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Bethel Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092 Scouts will host a BBQ Fundraiser on Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9 from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. to raise funds to send their scouts to summer camp. Plates are $10 (to go, dine in or delivery for large orders) and include BBQ, bun, baked beans, slaw, chips and dessert. For questions or information call Carol Ramsey at 980-429-6794.

Cedar Grove Lutheran Drive-Thru Living Passion, April 9-10: Come witness Scenes of the Passion, Suffering, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ from members of Cedar Grove community from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on April 9 and10 at 261 Cedar Grove Church Rd., Vale, NC.

New Heights Baptist Easter Party, Saturday, April 9: Easter party, featuring Easter egg hunts, food, crafts, games and more, April 9, 7-9 p.m. at  New Heights Baptist Church, 1506 Miles Road in Dallas, just across the county line, outside of High Shoals, The event will have an Easter egg hunt for preschoolers at 7:30 p.m. A glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunt will follow an hour later.
